Bird Feeder

To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded. - Ralph Waldo Emerson

Easter Joy

Easter was such a fun day. Watching the little ones searching for the goodies spread across the dead winter grass was great. Even though the kids were all bundled up and freezing since it was snowing. Yes, Nevada really knows how to have a celebration of spring and new beginnings!

However, today would be a much better day to have that celebration. The windows are all open and fresh air is streaming through our house chasing all of the stale winter stuff out. What a smell the spring air has. It even smells like newness. It lifts those dull winter spirits too. It was getting pretty bad around hear, I think we all had cabin fever and winter blues. We took Taylor to feed the ducks and play at the park too. You could really see that she was soooooooooo ready for a nice day and a romp at the park.

Nice pics! It's hard to think of snow right now, while I'm wearing shorts. Wheee! We signed a new lease today, for a bigger (2 bedroom instead of one!) and cheaper place down the street. We'll update with a new address soon!

Hey Aunt Cece!! I love the pictures of Taylor!! I agree, the spring air is just wonderful. I have been doing the same thing, opening all the windows and doors. But...now I have to be careful with that, the other day I had two neighborhood cats walk right into my house and think that they owned the joint!!
